Whistler 2006

During an extended stay in Whistler in the summer of 2006, I completed a series of drawings using pastel on paper. Back in the studio I referred to the drawings to develop a series of paintings with acrylic paint, using it like watercolour to capture the luminosity of the space, reflections of water and the linear accents of foliage.
